CECAP recognizes the importance of embarking in research which is in accordance to the program’s comprehensive approach towards cervical cancer prevention. This will serve as a guide in the formulation of the policies and guidelines most appropriate in our setting.

Currently, CECAP is conducting a review of studies on cervical cancer prevention done in the Philippines to identify the gaps for future research.

Likewise, we are assessing the preparedness of different communities all over the Philippines in adapting a comprehensive cervical cancer prevention program.

Furthermore, the CECAP research committee has initiated talks with various funding agencies and at present, proposals are being formulated for intended studies.
