An English teacher for more than 2 decades, she was diagnosed with cervical cancer almost ten years ago. She did not know a thing about cervical cancer before she was told she needed surgery before this deadly disease spreads all over her body. She now spends a good portion of her waking hours never forgetting to tell women in support groups of never losing hope but also to be aware of the options available to them to help keep cervical cancer away from their lives.
